Garden Centres in Rochford, Essex
Garden Centres in Rochford, Essex
Four very different businesses: a large accessible garden centre, two small family nurseries and an ornament yard people travel from Kent for.
What Rochford Is Good For
Rochford is the most varied of the Essex towns for its size. Scott’s of Southend is the big one, and notable for genuinely excellent accessibility — wheelchair-height restaurant tables and a disabled toilet by the café. Four Acres and Cherry Orchard are small family nurseries where the plants are grown on site and the prices reflect it. The Garden Ornament Centre is the outlier: a family yard selling cast stone and metal at prices that make garden-centre ornament aisles look absurd.
